Mr. Ralph Colet had been designing and building advanced vehicles for a variety of industries and applications throughout the 60s and 70s. Many of these designs were licensed to major companies around the world and would continue to influence vehicle advancement in safety and performance for decades.

In the 1980s Mr. Colet saw an opportunity to apply his designs to the public sector and help save lives.

That is when COLET SVD came to be in 1988 as a brand to bring advanced design, fabrication, and manufacturing experience to help improve the rescue and fire fighting vehicle industry. Over 30 years later we still strive to leverage the latest advanced engineering and manufacturing technologies to provide our customers with the highest performing quality custom vehicles.

In 2017 our Founder Ralph Colet passed leaving a legacy of advanced engineering products and designs. We continue on in his memory; revitalized and reinvented. Our task is to carry on the COLET SVD legacy as the leader in ARFF vehicle safety and performance.
