Worldwide Crash Truck Deliveries
(Aviation Fire Journal, September/October 2005,

| Colet SVD has
just displayed their new K30E 6x6 3000 gallon high performance crash
truck at the recent IAFC Exhibition in Denver. This unit is the second
one being delivered to the USAF Plant 42. One LAX firefighter who had
a chance to drive it said, "This truck drives precise and solid. The
steering is so precise. It drives like the suspension and chassis is
that of a finely tuned sports sedan. I can also tell you that it
outperforms any 8x8 (ARFF Vehicle) out there". |

Above) - Milwaukee's (Wisconsin, USA) General Mitchell
International Airport took delivery of a brand new Colet
K15/S 'Jaguar'. It arrived in perfect working condition and was very
well received by the ARFF firefighting personnel on duty. It is
similar to the K-15 ATTCC, but is also equipped with additional
options including rear and side view cameras, more advanced
suspension, wider stance, larger tires, multi-colored American Flag
graphics package and wireless remote controlled turret, just to name a
few. General Mitchell Firefighter/Equipment Operator Jeff Birmingham,
a 21 year ARFF veteran says, "The K-15 drives like a car. It's
quick, fast and maneuverable. The tight turning radius is outstanding.
The low center of gravity gives it a steady feel."
