The K/15ATTCC Jaguar uses a space frame monocoque chassis. This design is extremely ridged, strong, and lightweight. The monocoque chassis uses the water tank as a structural member and care must be used when lifting and supporting this type of chassis. This is true with any kind of frame and the space frame is more tolerant than the normal channel type frame. Only with the utilization of a monocoque is the vehicle made possible. More traditional design would require a much larger and heavier vehicle. This COLET design is 10X stronger than a channel frame. This is even more significant when the vehicle is air transported, where rhythmic flexing of the conventional chassis stresses the aircraft
